For long term stay and Christmas bookings please contact us to discuss our terms.   Card details will be required to secure your booking.   We accept cash, cheque with a guarantee card, and most major credit/debit cards.  In the case of cancellation the deposit is non-returnable , and if you cancel within 2 days of arrival, we shall have to charge the full amount payable if we are unable to re-let the room.  We advise our guests to take out cancellation insurance.

1.No liability is accepted for swimming pool use, and its use is purely at your own risk. 2. We will not be liable for any claims for any loss or liability other than those provided by our Public Liabililty policy. 3.Claims for theft, loss or damage to motor vehicles, or their contents whilst entering or upon the premises. 4. Claims for loss, inconvenience or travel costs associated with booking times, cancellations, alternative arrangements due to the proprietors ill health or accident.  In such cases we will make every effort to provide alternative staff to provide for your needs during your stay.  We reserve the right, as a last restort to reassign you booking to an alternative guest house in the event of incapacity of the proprietor. 5.Pre-paid deposits or payments are non refundable.  Upon cancellation - any refund will be at the discretion of the proprietor. The Proprietor - Mr David Lewis aims to provide for every reasonable comfort and service expected of this type of accommodation and guests are usually extremely complimentary at the standard of service, amenity and care given.  We would like to bring to your attention however, that due to the scale of the enterprise we are unable to provide absoloute guarantees and cannot be considered part of contractual obligation for the purposes of claims for compensation, loss or inconvenience other than for as a result of accident or injury where liability shall be provided for and any benefits under our terms and conditions of the establishments Public Liability Insurace - as displayed.  Please note Hartfield House is a family home, like any home, means that all occupants need to take personal responsibility for their care and personal safety, and should take care in our garden, drives and pathways as they may be slippery when wet.  Please do not hesitate to ask if you require clarification on any of the above points, and thank you for your time reading this document.  I am sure you understand accidents do occur in all our homes!
